Hi, my name is David. I graduated from Heriot-Watt in July 2022 with a degree in BSc mathematics. In my fourth year, I worked as a Residence Life Warden and now I am delighted to be continuing at Heriot-Watt as a Student Success Advisor.  In my first year at Heriot-Watt, I joined the squash club, and it has been one of the best parts of my student experience at university. I would highly recommend, joining a sports club or a society as it is a fantastic way to meet people and make friends. I am also a keen runner, and you will often find me at Oriam Parkrun on a Saturday morning.

Heriot-Watt highlight

My highlight of Heriot-Watt has been living on the Edinburgh campus. I lived on campus in both my first year and my fourth year too as a warden. I made lots of friends living in halls and it was great having everything so nearby, with my lecture theatres, the library, Oriam and the student union just minutes away. The campus is beautiful and there are so many great walking routes to explore!
