Dr Fadi Ghaith

I have been working at Heriot-Watt University, Dubai Campus since 2010. I currently hold the positions of Associate Director of Studies at Dubai Campus and Associate Professor in mechanical engineering. During my service at the University, I committed to play an active role in the operation and promotion of the University. I am currently a member of the University Senate. Also I am a member  of the Senate Business Committee  and the Undergraduate Studies Committee. In addition, I am a member of the Academic Council in Dubai.

Before joining HWU, I served several positions in the Oil and Gas industry such as project manager and consultant. Also I am a chartered engineer (CEng MIMechE) and recognized as Professional Engineer (PE, JEA).

It is an honour for me to stand for the election of the position of the Dean of the University (Science and Engineering) to represent the academic community of the University. I am motivated to extend my service to influence and support the development and sustainability of the University. Also I will take the responsibility to represent the academic staff and there valuable views and recommendations and to promote the provision of high quality educational opportunities on all University campuses.
