Outcome of voting in the Schools

Voting took place in three Schools and at close of voting on 30 May, the position was:

Notes:

  • The Senators named above shall serve from 1 August 2016 to 31 July 2019;
  • Ordinance C1 governs these elections, which are run under the auspices of the Secretary of the University;
  • The ‘constituencies’ for these elections reflected the movement of colleagues resulting from the disestablishment of the School of Life Sciences;
  • The Single Transferable Voting System was used for these elections;

  • Close Friday 13 May, 12 noon UK time

Voting:

  • Opens for contested positions Monday 16 May, 10am UK time
  • Voting closes: Monday 30 May 4pm UK time

Results:

  • Results announced to candidates Tuesday 31 May
  • Results announced to University community Wednesday 1 June

Newly elected Senators take office on 1 August 2016.
