Clearing 2023 - Closed

Clearing has now closed for 2023 entry at Heriot-Watt University.

You can submit an application for 2024 entry, via UCAS, from Tuesday 5 September 2023. Find out more about how to apply for undergraduate programmes at Heriot-Watt.

5 July - Clearing opens

If you’ve already got the exam results you need, you can get in touch now to secure your place. If you’re still waiting on exam results, you will need to wait until Results Day to get an offer.

8 August - SQA Results Day

Our Clearing phone line will be open from 8am on Tuesday 8 August until Sunday 13 August. You can also apply online using the registration form. You will find that on the main Clearing page, so make sure you sign up to receive Clearing updates from us.

17 October - Clearing closes

This date marks the end of Clearing. By 17 October you will need to have received and accepted your Clearing offer through UCAS. If you have not secured a place through Clearing you may want to apply for a place in September 2024.
