Heriot-Watt Staff Family and Friends Postgraduate Scholarship

Are you interested in undertaking a campus-based postgraduate taught qualification at Heriot-Watt University beginning in September 2024 and know a family member or a friend who works at Heriot-Watt? Ask to be nominated and you could receive a Heriot-Watt Staff Family and Friends Postgraduate Scholarship in the form of a £2000 tuition fee discount.

Please be aware the scholarship is only available to students with a UK fee status and recipients will be chosen based on a nomination form filled in by a Heriot-Watt member of staff (see below) and academic criteria. The academic criteria could be in respect of an undergraduate degree for instance or could take into account any professional exams undertaken. As the number of awards is limited, where two applicants are tied, extra-curricular activity may be considered.

How to apply

You will need to apply for the programme and then ask the staff member nominating you to fill out the nomination form.

The deadline for applications (both to apply for the programme and submit the nomination form) is Sunday 16 June 2024.

Please be aware you can only receive one Heriot-Watt funded scholarship towards your programme of study. For example, you cannot receive both this scholarship and the Alumni Discount.
