Ruth Moir has taken up the role of University Secretary as of 26 September. Endorsed by Senate, the Court made the appointment at its meeting last Friday.

Ruth is well known across the University through her work as Assistant Principal (International), her work in Malaysia and Dubai, and as former Academic Registrar, bringing extensive experience in University leadership and  management.

Principal & Vice Chancellor, Richard Williams, commented, "I am delighted that someone with such deep knowledge of the University and with such commitment to its values has been appointed."

The role of the Secretary remains to support the governance and operation of the University Court working with the Chair of Court, and to have oversight of the administration of the University, providing leadership of the Executive's planning and governance matters.
