Around 900 students collected their academic honours in front of proud family members and loved ones during Heriot-Watt's Edinburgh graduation ceremonies this week.

Over Tuesday (13 November) and Wednesday (14 November) students graduated in subjects that cover the breadth of the University's expertise.

Many travelled far and wide to be in Edinburgh to pick up their academic award including from Dubai, Jamaica and even Alaska.

Professor Richard A. Williams, Principal and Vice-Chancellor at Heriot-Watt University, said: “As a global University community we are delighted to celebrate the well-earned achievements of these students.

“All graduates now leave this University with the leadership skills and confidence that is required to succeed in today's world.

“I wish each of them the warmest wishes for their future careers.”
