Tech entrepreneurs from across Scotland are being invited to apply for Pitch@Palace 10.0.
Pitch@Palace was founded by The Duke of York in 2014 as a platform to amplify and accelerate the work of entrepreneurs.
The programme guides, helps and connects entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses with potential supporters, including CEOs, influencers, angels, mentors and business partners.
Pitch@Palace is coming to Edinburgh on Monday 2 July, when Edinburgh Business School and Heriot-Watt University will host Pitch@Palace On Tour Edinburgh.
Pitch@Palace On Tour events provide entrepreneurs from across the UK with the opportunity to learn about the programme, connect with local stakeholders and receive mentoring to develop their businesses.
Through Pitch@Palace On Tour and direct applications, entrepreneurs are chosen to attend Pitch@Palace Boot Camp.
Executive Dean of Edinburgh Business School, Heather McGregor, said:
“We're delighted to be hosting Pitch@Palace On Tour and to be supporting this great initiative in Scotland's capital city.
“Pitch@Palace stands out from all other start-up competitions. The programme, launched by The Duke of York, gives entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses access to an unparalleled network of people and organisations that can really help them take off.
“Here at Edinburgh Business School and Heriot-Watt, we have a long history of supporting small business start-ups and encouraging entrepreneurship.
“Those who attend Pitch@Palace On Tour Edinburgh and go on to win a place at Pitch@Palace Boot Camp will get the opportunity to present their ideas to an influential audience from the worlds of entrepreneurship, technology, media and investment.
“What's also important is the fact that the support does not end there. All entrepreneurs selected to Pitch at Boot Camp and St. James's Palace will join a network of Pitch@Palace Alumni and receive ongoing support.
“It is an exceptional opportunity and we're appealing to Entrepreneurs from all over Scotland to get to it and apply!”
