University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW

The University of Applied Sciences Northwestern (FHNW) in Switzerland is one of the country's seven Universities of Applied Sciences, recognised and accredited by the Swiss Federation. It was founded in 2006 and now comprises nine Schools and six institutes, supporting in excess of 11,200 undergraduate students and offering continuing education, applied research and development and consulting.

The university offers over 150 academic programmes and its School of Business is Switzerland's leading provider of continuing education in business management. It tutors 2,600 students in Bachelor degree programmes, undertakes applied research and development and is an active player in the field of consultancy.
