Clearing 2026
We have now closed for Clearing 2026.
However, if you are still interested in joining Heriot-Watt in future years, you can either:
- Apply through UCAS for September 2027 entry. Applications can be submitted from 1 September 2026 onwards.
- Consider one of our college pathway routes, which upon successful completion could allow you to enter directly into year two or year three of your chosen degree.

What is Clearing?
Whether your results were better than expected or not quite what you hoped for, Clearing gives you the opportunity to secure a place at Heriot-Watt after the main UCAS deadline has passed.
