An esteemed faculty member from the School of Engineering & Physical Sciences (EPS) at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM) achieved outstanding success by securing gold and double gold awards in the Science and Technology Category (Innovation Project) – Academic, at the International Innovation Competition (INNOCOM IV).
INNOCOM IV, organised by Academic International Dialogue (AID Conference), has been hosting national and international conferences in Malaysia since 2016. This initiative aims to unite professionals, academics, researchers, and even students, including those from schools, in presenting their innovations and research through poster exhibitions and product demonstrations.
Steven Hoo, an Associate Professor in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS) at HWUM, shared, “As an education transformer, I aspire for my involvement in competitions such as this to ignite sharing of good practices and develop curiosity for more educators to explore a diverse range of educational innovation paths.”
