Nanoscale-strained Quantum Emitters

Prof. Brian and his research team at IPaQS have used nanoscale strain engineering of a two-dimensional semiconductor to create arrays of efficient quantum light emitters. The precisely positioned single photon sources in a single sheet of atoms offer new opportunities for integrated and scalable quantum photonic chips for applications in quantum information science.
