About

Hello, I’m Kayla! I graduated with a BSc in Psychology in 2022.  I came in as a direct entry student into my second year and despite certain challenges I faced such as the disruptions due to the COVID-19 Pandemic in my third and final year, I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a student at Heriot Watt.  I am excited to be able to share my first-hand experiences and advice with students as a Student Success Advisor. 

Heriot-Watt highlight

For me, my overall highlight was meeting the most amazing group of friends. I attended the Sports Union’s Sports Fair during Welcome Week and joined the Equestrian Club (something I didn’t realise was on offer to me prior to starting University)! I highly recommend joining a sports club and becoming a part of the Sports Union as it is the best way to meet others, stay healthy and take your brain for a well needed rest away from studies once or twice a week.
