Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is a letter issued by Heriot-Watt University in support of your application for a student visa. It contains a CAS number which is needed for a student visa application and each student is assigned a unique CAS number. Once your CAS number has been assigned, the letter will be sent to you via email.
