Applied micro-econometrician with particular interest in the fields of Labour, Health, Behavioural and Energy Economics. I regularly teach econometrics and statistics at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Background

My current research includes 3 projects:

  1. Intergenerational economic mobility in the UK, with a particular interest on differentials between socio-ethnic groups, the white working-class boys and looking into their returns as well as their aspirations.
  2. Intergenerational transmission of obesity in the UK analysing the impact of the socioeconomic gradient between genders and age groups.
  3. A theoretical microeconomic model about aspirations and educational achievement, using prospect theory. Adjacent interests include machine learning methods such as random forests.
