Dr Stavroula Kalogeras

Associate Professor, Marketing

Dr. Kalogeras has over 20 years of work experience in higher education across multiple countries and cultures. She is an interdisciplinary researcher and Scholar of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) who pioneered pedagogy in transmedia education. Her two books on pedagogical enhancement provide profound insight into higher education teaching strategies. Dr. Kalogeras is passionate about student engagement and uses design thinking, narrative instruction, and neuroscience to create engaging lessons to reach a new generation of learners who learn differently.

In addition to her roles within higher education, she is an accomplished researcher and entrepreneur with a unique focus on transmedia strategy. Her expertise in this area has allowed her to explore innovative ways to disseminate knowledge and engage with diverse audiences, transcending traditional boundaries. She is passionate about bridging the gap between research and practice and is committed to translating cutting-edge research into actionable insights and practical solutions ensuring that the knowledge generated within the academic sphere has a meaningful impact on society and industry. Dr. Kalogeras has mentored leaders from Google to General Electric in communication, public speaking, leadership, and storytelling strategies.
