Rafal Sitko is an Assistant Professor in Business Management and a Programme Director for Undergraduate International Business Management (IBM) at Heriot-Watt University, School of Social Sciences, Dubai, UAE.

He lectures on various courses on the UG IBM programme including: Human Resource Management, Resourcing and Talent Management, Organisational Behaviour and Business Ethics. Rafal also supervises undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations on topics related to his courses and research interest.

Background

Rafal Sitko was awarded his PhD in Management from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh campus. His Doctoral research was supervised by Professor Kate Sang and Doctor James Richards. The thesis examined, through an intersectional lens, the work experiences of Polish migrant women in the Scottish hospitality industry.
