Assistant Professor

In my current role as an Assistant Professor, I am responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of teaching in accordance with the University’s strategy, policy and procedures, contributing to activities which influence leading edge practice and also undertake research activity. I have almost 10 years of teaching experience in financial and management accounting subjects at university level. My primary research interests are in environmental performance, and sustainability business strategies.

Background

My past academic employment was as an Assistant Professor of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. Prior to that, I was teaching at UCSI University and have almost 5 years of industry experience as cost accountant and as an auditor. Those positions enabled me to actively be involved in academic management, research, and university-industry engagement. I am also a Certified Chartered Accountant and Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
