Zeinab Elrashidy

Zeinab Elrashidy is a PhD student in Finance at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. She is an Associate Fellow of AdvanceHE, and since 2019 has contributed to a range of teaching activities at Heriot-Watt University.

  • CFA level I, II and III exams
  • MSc in Business Administration from Cairo University

Background

Prior to this, Zeinab was an assistant lecturer and then lecturer at Cairo University (2014-2019). She graduated in 2013 from the joint program between the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University and J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University, majoring in Finance and Investment and being awarded her degree with the classification ‘excellent with honour’, ranking first in her class. Further, she was a member of the team representing Cairo University in the 2013 CFA Institute Research Challenge. By 2015, she was the faculty advisor for the Cairo University team in the same challenge. In 2019 she published her first research paper entitled "Performance of Egyptian Mutual Funds".
