I completed my Masters in Computer Systems Management from Heriot Watt University Dubai in 2019 and currently I’m working with flydubai airlines. In my study, I will be reviewing the current state and practice/usage of Business Information Modelling (BIM) in the UAE. There is relatively little previous research in this field, and in particular no work has sought to establishing facilities management (FM) for BIM. My research will explore the extent to which BIM is applied in facilities management (FM) within the UAE. This work will make an original contribution to knowledge through finding/developing a way in which BIM for FM is possible and how issues of interoperability between the two can be overcome.

My research is supervised by Dr. Mohammed Salama.
