Mina Amrovani

I’m a multilingual PhD student in business management (marketing) with a demonstrated history of working both in industry and academia.

I’m in the last stage of my PhD and my supervisors are Prof.Babak Taheri and Prof.Umit Bititci. My research is specifically focused on tourism marketing and as creating memorable experiences has a key role in the tourism industry today, my research is focused on the consumer journey and service failure and looks for ways to enhance business performance by adopting performance measurement and management schemes.

Background

Working in the travel industry made me appreciate the problems in the tourism industry deeply and led me to the place that I am today. I hope to use my PhD to help find solutions to some of the challenges I faced while working in the industry.
