Cheyne Wooderson
Cheyne is a tutor across multiple topics in operations and business management and dissertation supervisor. Holder of a MSc in Green and Sustainable Supply Chain Management with distinction, PgCert in Doctoral Business Research Methods, and Associate Fellow of Higher Education.
Cheynes’ PhD research looks at operational standards in maternity services. The research looks to understand what is happening on an operational level in both a hospital setting and a midwife-led setting, during the event of labour and childbirth. To date there is no known research that links operations research with maternity or midwifery research. Cheynes’ key Interests are in identifying the differences in settings. Through exploration of frameworks and theories known to operations research and public health management, Cheyne hopes to better understand the role of standards, how they are managed, and the extent to which this directly relates to birth-related trauma.
