Dr. Scott teaches the undergraduate law courses for International Business Management and Accounting, as she is a qualified lawyer and a PhD in Law.  She also teaches undergraduate management courses for Business Administration, Finance, International Business Management and Accountancy.

Biography

Dr. Scott was awarded a BA (English Major, History minor), LLB, and LLM by the University of Alberta, Canada.  She then studied for her PhD (Law) at Birkbeck College, University of London, which was awarded in 2010.  She is a non-practicing member of the Law Society of Alberta (Canada), and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Research

Dr. Scott’s research interests include property and constitutional law, commercial law in a comparative context, human rights and social justice, and Indigenous rights.
