We are pleased to announce that Professor Mushtak Al-Atabi, Provost and Chief Executive Officer of Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM), have been elected as the Chairman of the Vice Chancellors' Council for Private Universities (VCCPU) for the second consecutive year. VCCPU was established by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) as an effort to recognise private higher education's positive impact on the society.
The appointment was made during the VCCPU Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 6 June 2023.
