With a population of approximately 13,000, Galashiels is one of the most popular towns in the Scottish Borders and offers an ideal backdrop to student life, with a strong sense of community and an active social scene.
The local train station provides a frequent service to both Edinburgh and Glasgow, whilst the university’s twice-daily shuttle bus connects the campus with Heriot-Watt’s Edinburgh Campus throughout the week.
