degree show 2022

Heriot-Watt University's School of Textiles and Design is opening its doors to an in-person event on 31st May, where Graduate students will showcase their work.

The Graduate Showcase 2022 incorporates videos, slide shows and static imagery.

Students will also continue to exhibit their work via our online showcase School of Textiles and Design which provides a global platform for our students to display their work internationally

This year's theme is “Focus” as it resonates focusing on the future and how the students have directed their way of working and how this has redefined their final year.

Professor Fiona Waldron, Executive Dean for the School of Textiles & Design, said: “It has been another challenging year, but students have been able to return to campus as the protocols for COVID 19 has eased.  This has been a wonderful opportunity for students to reignite their friendships and utilise the campus facilities at both the Scottish Borders Campus and Dubai. I am immensely proud of the achievement of all students as they continue to produce high quality work.

“The annual Degree show is a highlight for students to finally see their projects showcased and a wonderful chance for us all to celebrate their work.  We hope the show will encourage others who are considering studying one of our many design-based disciplines either at our Galashiels or Dubai Campuses.”

There is also an opportunity to visit the Galashiels campus and view the degree show from 1st – 15th June. (excl. 1st/2nd/3rd June)
