Resources
The Library provides access to high quality books, journals, conference proceedings and other materials to support research carried out at the University.
The Library Catalogue contains information on the Library's print and electronic holdings.
The Discovery service searches across a range of databases, including the main Library catalogue, for journal articles, ebooks, proceedings, market research reports and news items. Results are ranked by relevance. Discovery contains information on the majority of the Library's resources.
You can also search specialist databases, including SciFinder, Web of Science, OnePetro and Mintel Reports.
It is worthwhile checking the Subject Guides to Library resources for your specialism
If you wish to discuss the purchase of a new resources - a journal, database, book etc, please also contact your Subject Librarian

Liaison Librarians can provide one-to-one tuition or support for a group of students or staff on using the resources available or information skills - eg citing and referencing. They also provide seminars via the Research Futures programme for PhD students.
