The School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society (EGIS) is one of the UK’s leading for multidisciplinary research and teaching in areas critical to economic development and societal equity; with a focus on the core disciplines that contribute to a sustainable, resource and energy efficient society.
Undergraduate study
Our undergraduates study across the subjects of architectural engineering, biology, civil and structural engineering, construction project management and quantity surveying, geography and urban studies.
Postgraduate study
The School of the Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society on-going commitment to high quality and innovative research has been recognised with a high ranking in the last two UK government Research Assessment Exercises (RAE)

EGIS offers programmes of education and research in Scottish, Dubai and Malaysian campuses, with huge potential to influence the education and research agenda in topics which are key to the progress of the society and addressing some of the key challenges facing the society at present. In addition, the diverse nature of the School enables multidisciplinary approaches to address these societal aspirations and challenges.
