About

Sarah Kelly is the key Library contact for staff and students in the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society (EGIS). Sarah teaches information skills as part of the EGIS taught curriculum, as part of the research Futures programme for PhD students and as part of the University’s Skills Hub programme. She also provides a one-to-one appointment/consultancy service for staff and students; deals with advanced enquiries relating to the use of Library resources; and liaises with EGIS staff to ensure that library collections and services support the Schools teaching, learning and research needs. 

Sarah has been working in FE and HE for over 18 years, providing e-learning, digitisation, library and information services support. Sarah holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and a postgraduate degree in Information Management.  During her time at Heriot-Watt Sarah undertook the PG Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
