I have worked at the University since 1993 in a variety of support, development and training roles in the IS discipline.  I have a good knowledge of Microsoft applications and provide Power Hour training on Word, Excel & PowerPoint.  I can provide training on most things we use at Heriot Watt, whether that be classroom, remote or one to one. 

Other areas of skill include, Office 365 including its applications in use at HW, such as Teams, Stream, Flow, OneDrive etc.  I am proficient in the use of a wide-range of Microsoft and other applications.  I can support, guide and advise on almost all software technological solutions currently in use at HW.

I am the Centre Manager for the delivery of the ICDL and Advanced ICDL qualifications, encouraging staff and students to undertake this to achieve an industry standard, benchmarked qualification. 

I am also responsible for the maintenance and development of our LinkedIn Learning service, which provides a huge library of 13,000 courses and videos, spanning areas covering Business, Technological and Creative subject content.  This service can also be adopted by Academic Colleagues wishing to enhance their teaching with its content.
