5. Wi-fi

You have free wi-fi on all of our campuses. Heriot-Watt uses eduroam to provide you with a fast connection wherever you are on campus.

Select HWU WiFi set up when you try to connect your device to the wireless service for the first time.

You will be taken to the eduroam automatic configuration tool and taken through the required steps.

When prompted, enter your HWU username adding @hw.ac.uk so it looks like this: abc1234@hw.ac.uk
