About
Laura is a public engagement coordinator and co-leads the HW-Engage initiative. Within this role, she supports, stimulates and promotes public engagement activities across the University, with the vision of embedding public engagement activities into academic life, building on the University's strong history of public engagement with local, national and international communities.
Specifially, Laura develops and leads on events engaging the public, reward & recognition, communicating through online portals and facilitating external partnerships. Laura also coordinates the Wellcome Trust EnLightenment Smartphone Microscope Project, and is the Communication and Alumni coordinator for Scottish Crucible.
