Our Constructed and Virtual Environments subject area encompasses our Undergraduate Interior Design and our Postgraduate Interior Architecture and Design programme. 

Interior Design develops specialist skills whilst collaborating with talented designers from textiles and fashion. Students have the opportunity to develop a complete set of skills spanning the creative process, materials and furnishings, retail, event design, architectural alteration, and technology.

Our Interior Architecture and Design programme offers a range of studio projects and specialist subjects broaching the relationship between interiors and architecture.

BA (Hons) Interior Design

Offering creative blend of design skills to equip students for industry. Our key study themes include materials, hand and digital making skills, drawing, furniture and detailing, sustainability, human-centred design, technology and digital communication.

MA Interior Architecture and Design

This programme embraces Interior Design and Architecture and blends the application of practical skills, research, and technology to develop designs that offer tangible solutions to current socio-economic issues and sustainability.
