Background
I started my career in clothing production engineering, in the clothing industry, as a Product Developer engineering products for commercial manufacture. My academic career spans more than 30 years in which I have continued to champion a focus on education and being informed by industry practice in all aspects of product development.
I have held a number of posts within and out with the University including work with the QAA, review panels, external examining, SQA advisory panels and have been a visiting lecturer in a number of international institutions.
