Research Management Committee (Malaysia)

Research activity in Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM) is governed by the Research Management Committee (Malaysia) which maintains oversight of the research and innovation activities in HWUM. The Research Management Committee (Malaysia) is a sub-committee of the University's Research and Knowledge Exchange Board to which it reports regularly. The Committee also submits annual research performance reports to the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and its subsidiary units.

The purpose of the Committee is:

• To oversee research activities at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia.
• to promote the development of a research base/strategy for Heriot-Watt University Malaysia; and
• to promote research opportunities for both staff and students.
