Policy and Governance

The Policy and Governance Division is a professional service team within the Governance and Legal Services directorate that works across the University to:

  • Develop the constitutional framework and appropriate support mechanisms for the corporate and academic governance of the global University;
  • Develop the constitutional framework and appropriate support mechanisms for the corporate and academic governance of the global University;
  • Provide professional clerking services to the Court, Committees of the Court, the Senate and Executive Committees;
  • Establish common policy and practice for effective committee business support, and develop a clerks’ network, through which the relevant skills, expertise and good practice will be shared, recognised and promoted, across the global University;
  • Manage the University's Global Student Academic Appeals, Student Conduct (academic and non-academic), and the University’s Complaints Handling Procedures;
  • Manage the University’s Report and Support system.
