Project abstract
This study examines change management strategies for conventional energy companies transitioning to renewable energy, with a focus on Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited. Global energy demand is shifting, and conventional energy companies are struggling to adapt to these new energy sources. This study explores sustainable strategies and Change Management that could assist NNPC in transitioning to renewable energy, building on previous studies on green energy transitions (Adekanye & Sobande, 2024). An evaluation of NNPC's readiness for this significant shift will be used to build and test a conceptual model that satisfies the corporate, social, and environmental requirements for successful transformation.
