University Committee for Quality and Standards
The University Committee for Quality and Standards is responsible, on behalf of the Senate, for all aspects of academic quality assurance, including:
- progressing or engaging with institutional policy development;
- monitoring and review; and
- oversight of the Quality Assurance Framework.
The University Committee for Quality and Standards reports directly to the Senate.
The Studies Committee carries out work on behalf of and reports to the University Committee for Quality and Standards. The Studies Committee has a fundamental role in assuring the academic standards of the University’s undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes of study.
