Our six Research Institutes house a number of multi-disciplinary and industry-facing research activities. Our research projects are collaborative by nature and tailored to suit company requirements. We undertake a number of projects with both private and public sector clients. The Institute of GeoEnergy Engineering has pioneered the concept of Joint Industry Programmes, working with a large number of companies to deliver fundamental and applied research in collaboration with the oil and gas sector. We also manage the Scotland-wide Oil and Gas Innovation Centre.
