Informed by the expertise of our research-active academics and supported by the practice-based knowledge of our highly experienced technical support staff, we ensure students are exposed to a future-led curriculum, which responds to both current and emerging trends and technologies across the breadth of the creative industries.

Explore new digital technologies, alongside conventional approaches to fashion and textiles design, that will enable you to explore a broad range of market sectors, including luxury fashion, high-street brands and independent designers, across the UK and globally.

The Textiles (Associate Student route) programme is unique in that you will split your learning across Glasgow Clyde College and Heriot-Watt University. You will apply directly to Glasgow Clyde College and spend your first two years studying an appropriate HND there. Upon successful completion of your HND, you’ll progress into the third year of either BA (Hons) Fashion, BA (Hons) Fashion Branding and Promotion or BA (Hons) Design for Textiles degree at our Scottish Borders Campus, which sits close to the heart of Scotland's luxury textile industry.
