Throughout this master's programme, you’ll gain relevant skills and knowledge to be highly employable for careers in sustainable finance, including investment management, banking, consultancy, and policymaking. You’ll develop a range of cognitive skills to allow you to analyse complex financial information, make informed decisions, and communicate effectively with a range of audiences. You’ll also acquire practical skills for implementing sustainable finance strategies including risk management, impact measurement, and sustainable investment practices.

This programme combines academic rigour with practical relevance, providing you with the knowledge and skills needed to address the financial industry's complex challenges. You’ll learn from leading academics and practitioners in the field, gaining a deep understanding of the latest trends and innovations in sustainable finance and fintech.

Upon graduation, you’ll be able to apply your knowledge and skills to promote sustainable development and positively impact society and the environment.

Entry requirements

We have standard entry requirements for all of our courses that you will have to meet.

A minimum of honours degree at 2:2 or non-UK equivalent in a relevant subject such as Accountancy, Finance, Economics or Business Management. We can also consider an unrelated degree that demonstrates numerical ability, or if no numeracy content we can consider 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Professional certificates can be considered in support of your application. BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) with no work experience cannot be admitted without additional study relating specifically to Finance.
