Our Study Abroad (Visiting Student) Programme is ideal if you are a student who would like to spend one or two semesters in Scotland earning credits to transfer back to your home institution. We offer opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

We have a strong reputation in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business, psychology and languages, all offered at our Edinburgh Campus. Our School of Textiles & Design, based at our Scottish Borders campus in Galashiels, is the second oldest textile institution in the world and offers unrivalled specialist facilities to study various design subjects. We also have a campus on the Orkney Isles which offers postgraduate study in marine and renewable science.
