Overview
The Pathways scholarship awards £2500 annually to two of our widening access students. The scholarship is aimed at supporting students with their living costs and will be paid for each year of their undergraduate studies.
Eligibility
The Pathways scholarship provides students from widening participation backgrounds who are joining us in September 2025, with extra financial support to help towards living costs. Please check if you meet our Widening access criteria.
How to apply
Please click the apply button and fill in the form no later than the deadline of 17th August 2025, please be aware a short statement of up to 300 words is required regarding your financial situation. To apply you must hold an offer to study at Heriot-Watt in September 2025.
Note - this bursary is for new students who will be joining Heriot-Watt in September 2025 only. Current students who are already enrolled are not eligible to apply.
