Overview
The Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI) is providing funding for one full tuition-fee scholarship for a Scottish-domiciled student on our MSc in Biomedical Engineering programme which is delivered in partnership with the University of Edinburgh.

Determine if you are eligible to apply by answering the following questions with a "yes":
- Are you a British citizen, an EU citizen with Settled Status, or hold indefinite leave to remain status?
- Have you been resident in the UK for at least the last three years (proof may be required)?
- Are you (or will you be) an ordinary resident in Scotland when starting the course?
- Are you starting a new course?
To be eligible for funding, your MSc dissertation work needs to align with at least one of DHI's strategic themes. For more details on available projects please contact scholarships@hw.ac.uk
Eligibility
This scholarship is for students who meet the eligibility criteria for SAAS Postgraduate Funding coming to study on our MSc in Biomedical Engineering in September 2026.
How to apply
Please click the apply button and fill out the form by the deadline of Friday 7 August. In order to apply, you must already have applied to the MSc in Biomedical Engineering, you do not have to hold an offer to be considered for the scholarship.
Dependent on the number of applicants, we may hold interviews week commencing 10th August, you will be contacted directly if this is the case.
