Support for Students of Determination
Heriot-Watt University Dubai recognises that university study can present barriers to learning for people with physical, mental health, sensory and medical conditions, and specific learning difficulties.
The Determination Service is led by the Students of Determination Adviser who is here to provide you with advice and guidance. The adviser will guide you on the support that you require and the steps that are taken to enable you to access this support. The adviser can also signpost you to other relevant services, and is available to answer your enquiries via email, in-person or online meetings. To book an appointment email dubai.determination@hw.ac.uk.
If you have, or think that you may have a disability, medical or mental health condition, or a specific learning difficulty which is now beginning to impact on your studies, please contact dubai.determination@hw.ac.uk.

Students of Determination Support Pathway
The Determination Service is here to provide students with advice and guidance and assess support needs. It could include a copy of a professional written diagnosis of your condition(s), details of any particular support that you feel you will need or of adjustments you had in place at school that you found helpful, details or all disclosed disabilities/conditions if there are multiple.
