Heriot-Watt Unlocked is a FREE activity book that lets learners explore our university.

Join Fi, our student ambassador, as she takes you on a tour of Heriot-Watt’s Edinburgh campus. Meet some of our academics and researchers, learn more about the subjects we offer and complete an activity relating to each subject.

Heriot-Watt Unlocked is an activity booklet designed for CfE Level 2/Key Stage 2 learners as part of the Mary Burton Schools Project run by the Heriot-Watt Outreach team.

Designed for teachers and educators, this resource can either be used as a self-led activity that students complete on their own or taught together in a classroom setting. A teacher pack is provided to show you how to deliver each activity as a full lesson and how to track what you have done.

To get your FREE activity books, teacher pack and downloadable posters email outreach@hw.ac.uk and let us know the following information:

  • How many copies you require

Please note, printed activity books are subject to availability. Should you want physical copies, please also allow time for postage.
