Biography

Neil’s academic background is in Land Economics. He is currently a Reader in Urban Studies in the School of the Built Environment working in the research areas listed above and teaching real estate valuation and investment. He has previously held positions as a Researcher in Land Economics at the University of Paisley and as a Lecturer and subsequently Senior Lecturer in Land Economy at the University of Aberdeen. Neil has undertaken research projects for the RICS, ODPM, Scottish Parliament, EPSRC and NHPAU and has published widely including Journal of Property Research, Urban Studies and Real Estate Economics.
