Biography
Yimin Wan joined Heriot-Watt University in September 2022 as an assistant professor in Accountancy. Prior to joining the SOSS, HWU, she was a teaching assistant at Swansea University. She also engaged in auditor’s translation works in the past four year, accumulated translate over 20 auditor’s report from Chinese to English.
She is in her final stage of her PhD at Swansea University, and her research interests include quantitative accounting, corporate governance, corporate disclosure, corporate performance, liquidity risks, and stock price crash risks. Before that, she gained an MSc in Accounting and Finance with Distinction at Swansea University.
Background
Yinmin worked as a teaching assistant at Swansea University for over 3 years, taking on teaching and assessment responsibility for Accounting for Business, Financial Resource Management, and Fundamental Finance. She has translated over 20 auditor’s reports for a Chinese company, and is familiar with financial reporting.
