Meet the Brewers

On behalf of our International Centre of Brewing and Distilling at Heriot-Watt University, we would like to invite you to join us at our Meet the Brewers reception taking place in London.

Bringing together industry experts, distinguished alumni and other guests, the event is being kindly hosted by Professor Richard A. Williams Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Heriot-Watt University, who would be delighted to welcome you at the event.

We look forward to you joining us at this exclusive event on Wednesday 6th August from 7pm at Brewers Hall, London. You will have the opportunity to taste beers from our extremely talented student brewers, while networking with industry experts, your fellow alumni, and the team from our world-leading International Centre of Brewing & Distilling. We hope you can join us for what will be an exciting evening.

Our students are delighted to present the most recent product from our Natural Selection Brewery; Golden Hour an American blonde infused with rooibos tea, the rooibos aims to complement the malty notes of the beer and unlike other adjuncts used before such as coffee or earl grey is caffeine free. Natural Selection Brewing is a collaboration between Heriot-Watt University and Stewart Brewing providing four MSc. Brewing and Distilling students with the opportunity to develop, brew, market, and sell a beer of their design as their research project. In its 13th year, the NSB team for 2025 comprises of students from the UK, Hungary, and America.
