Heriot-Watt University Malaysia has been named as Talentbank’s Employers’ Preferred Universities in the 2025 National Graduate Employability Index (GE Index)—a prestigious benchmark reflecting industry confidence in Malaysia’s top universities.
This achievement reinforces the university’s reputation as a top institution for graduate employability.
The GE Index is based on comprehensive surveys conducted with Malaysia’s leading employers, including Top Glove Corporation Bhd, Maybank, PETRONAS, Shell Malaysia, and PwC Malaysia. Their strong preference for Heriot-Watt graduates underscores the University’s ability to produce highly sought-after talent.

The GE Index evaluates key factors such as employers preferred higher education institutions, the volume of graduates hired, and employers’ willingness to continue recruiting from these institutions.
